Embrace the latest!
The last week set two new milestones for Embrace Photography: the first being the largest group I've shot so far (8 people), and the second being the youngest person I've shot (6 days old)!
My large family session was a blast! The location was great; 9 acres full of opportunity! The family was easy going and welcoming. Their session included the group as a whole, a four generation session (how wonderful is that!?), and a session with R., A. and L. (the family of 3... soon to be 4! Congratulations!).

Embrace Photography: who, what, why
Hello!
Welcome to Embrace Photography's blog! It's here that I'll share sneak peaks from some of my latest sessions and keep you updated on the latest information and specials!
I'm Valerie Gleason, the owner of Embrace Photography. Embrace Photography was started after several really bad experiences with department store studios. I was tired of coming home with the same poses everyone else had. My daughter, Evie, is unique and special (any parent knows how special their kids are!), and my photos weren't reflecting that. I've had a lifelong love affair with my cameras, and, with the support of my amazing husband, found myself diving into the business world, determined that other moms had an affordable alternative to the department store studios.
My goal with Embrace Photography is to capture your special moments, so that some day, years from now, you'll be able to look at your photos and say "Oh, that is such a _______ face!" I'm learning firsthand how much quicker time goes when you have a child in your life. It seems like yesterday I was coming home from the hospital with our little Evie, and here she is, almost a year old.
I will never get a chance to retake her first pictures. I can, however, make sure the ones to come are a better representation of her personality. And I can do the same for you.
